FRIDAY
Dinner and TMNT with Ber, Dickson and _____! The movie reminded me of my childhood- times when I never failed to catch this favourite cartoon of mine and play related games on PlayStation, as well as my secondary school days- times when Ber, Chris, Mel and I were "turtles". Truly nostalgic.
SATURDAY
Highlight of the day-
Phantom of the Opera with BestFriends and Ber's Mom! Theatrical effects swept me off my feet, acting/singing were beyond astounding and of course, I enjoyed myself :D Ber's Dad came to pick us up when the show ended. Then it was supper at Redhill Market (lotsss of fried oyster/omelette) and a lift back home.
SUNDAY
Went for Father Lu's wake in the evening with Ber, Desiree and Donavan. Saw Gabriel whom I don't remember to be as talkative or as camera shy during camp!
MONDAY
:Br was nice enough to accompany me for my card making appointment at SP which turned out to be more than just card making. All the talks about various FOPs dragged on for about two hours :/ SORRY for making you wait and THANK YOU for your time dear ♥
Lunched at Outram then Huisuo for two meetings in a row. Cabbed down to Changi Airport for a quick bite at Popeye's before rushing to the Budget Terminal to receive Oliver Castudio, member of SCA Philippines who's here for research purposes. Cabbed again to his hostel and brought him to the nearby MRT station to familiarise with some stuff before going back to :Br's to catch up on sleep.
TUESDAY
Dragged our sleepy selves out of bed in the wee hours of the morning to meet Oliver. Headed to NUS with him and his newfound friend, Cherie, to make some enquiries. Boy, NUS is too big already! Seriously taboleh tahan!
Vivo next to check out electronics and have lunch. Then we parted ways- Cherie and Oliver to Sentosa, Desiree and I to her house to sleep.
Woke up after less than two hours to attend the mass for Father Lu. I could feel the sadness brimming in the chapel :( Driving of his coffin around HIHS was very saddening, cremation at Mandai was a billion times worse :'( But it really calms my soul to know that Father Lu is back in the kingdom of God, rid of pain and suffering, having eternal life blessed upon him. Even though I don't know him at all, I still feel so much and this only goes to show how great a man Father Lu was. He shall always live in many people's hearts.
Thank you God, for Father Lu (:
Met Cherie and Oliver in the evening together with the double D's for dinner at Chomps and dessert at Haato.
TODAY
Clovie came over to my place for a reason that shall be kept undisclosed for the time being. Oh there was this chair exhibition on L1 of IKEA, the most interesting piece being the tap inspired one! SWEDISH MEATBALLS = HEAVENLY
I can't wait for
Friday the 13th to see XKK again :D
