Carol Jie Jie's on Monday was a delicious treat- chicken wings, pizza and spaghetti! What's best was I got to see BestFriend and the boys ;D
Didn't sleep a wink throughout the night and reached Ber's at 8am on Tuesday morning together with the three boys from yesterday. Her parents and Grandma gave us angpows! Alvan accidentally wished her Grandma "Happy Birthday" instead of "Happy New Year" because he got the dialect all mixed up! What a good laugh we had early in the morning. Next we (without Ber) proceded to Gareth's where we watched a bit of Naruto, then to Desiree's (without Gareth) for lunch- abalone, fish noodles and shark's fin!
After that, I met up with my family at Istana for the Open House <3 It was rather tiring because everywhere was upslope (I had muscle aches on Weds please) but we sure had fun taking photos! Managed to convince my Uncle into taking jumping shots, hahah you should've seen how relunctant he was, giving all sorts of excuses and acting all grown-up. Took a look in the Istana Building (no photos allowed) and oh my, it's AMAZING inside... Countless chandeliers, dazzling gold and silver gifts from various countries- from tea sets to letter openers to daggers to miniature models of tourist attractions such as the Peace Bell in Japan, so on and so forth! We also saw the high Presidential Chair made of velvet as well as loads of incredible needlework and paintings! Exited the building, took more photos and went home to rest.
Wednesday- Met CFCYS at Lido, had a long chat over lunch while waiting for our movie, caught Norbit (horribly hilarious), Tampines to get Music Fest tickets from Yvonne, Huisuo for Music Fest meeting, dinner and 9o'clock show at Ah Seah, CFCYS stayed over to chiong PB.
Today- Iggy came over at noon, woke the both of us up, ordered Macs, supposed to go recee campsite but we got too lazy plus Sherwin couldn't make it down so we called it off, PB interrupted by secret-digging, Iggy went off, caught Protege (Daniel Wu! Louis Koo!) with CFCYS (third movie in less than a week), dinner at the nearby coffeeshop, parted ways.
Now I can't wait for work tomorrow with Sis, say bye to boredom!
