HAPPY BIRTHDAY POP <3

Met :Br at Suntec yesterday evening to look for candles which spell 'happy birthday' but failed miserably. Candy Empire, Carl's, then Subway to get meatball marinara footlong!

House of Joy and Goong at Jo's till it was time to head to Li Hwan Drive for the surprise! Thanks Jo, for lending us your place to kill time :)

At 2350, I called his house to get his mom to open the door for us so we can creep in. BUT ALVAN ANSWERED THE HOUSE PHONE INSTEAD :| Hung up hastily and all five of us went into a frenzy because none of us had his mom's mobile number! Save for Ronald and his ingenious one-call-handphone-the-other-call-house-phone-he-can't-answer-both-at-the-same-time plan, we managed to enter without him finding out. Had to light the candles using the stove because his mom couldn't find a lighter. It was a mad rush for time as midnight was arriving! Sang the birthday song while climbing upstairs to his computer area. VOILA HE WAS COMPLETELY TAKEN ABACK (or chua-dio as he put it)! Made him try on his new tight-fitting Topman polo tee and singlet :)

Our very nice alliance a.k.a. Alvan's very nice mom prepared loads of food and beverages for us! Ate our fill, watched him fix the jigsaw and played Twister and Cluedo :) Amos and Ber left at 0300 and 0200 respectively. Watched a little of Wrong Turn then switched to watching Goong. All of them fell asleep while I survived the whole night.

Most of today was spent catching up on sleep at :Br's. Huisuo in the evening with Dick/Shan/Yongs and kwaychup for dinner with :Br/Dick.

I hope you had fun turning seventeen ;D
